Ready for another Picnic! 8.26.25

Born on Fourth of July, Amy's Picnic Pups are 8 weeks old and ready to go home with their new families on Labor Day Weekend! We have enjoyed such a fun summer alongside these pups and we're so excited to see them head off to new adventures with their forever families. They all got their first vaccinations and passed their health exams with flying colors. Ready, Set.... 

Cole: Going home to Lancaster, MA!

Shorty: Now Fitz, going home to Norman, OK!

Potato: Now Auggie, going home to Braintree, MA!

Melly: Staying Melly, going home to Quincy, MA!

BB: Now Leo, going home to Newton, MA!

BB is 2.12 pounds!

Cole is 2.34 pounds!

Melly is 2.44 pounds!

Potato is 2.73 pounds!

Shorty is 2.29 pounds!

Patriotic Picnic Puppies! July 4, 2025

When Amy went into labor late on the 3rd of July, I was so grateful that our oldest son Jack has developed an interest in puppy midwifery! He's apprenticed with us for a number of litters now so he told us we could go to bed and he would stay up with Amy. Jack did a great job welcoming the puppies (with some input!) and the all the pups arrived safe and healthy from the start. Amy is an experienced, attentive mama and the puppies are thriving under her care. Their bellies are nice and round and they're packing on the ounces every day! 

We let Jack choose the name theme and apparently he was anticipating the treats of the day ahead of him. So please welcome the Patriotic Picnic puppies! 

1st born: Baked Beans (BB!) - apricot male - 0.99 lb. (1 week)

2nd born: Shortcake (Shorty!) - apricot male - 1.00 lb. (1 week)

3rd born: Watermelon (Melly!) - apricot female - 1.10 lb. (1 week)

4th born: Potato Salad (Potato!) - apricot male - 1.19 lb. (1 week)

5th born: Coleslaw (Cole!) - apricot male - 1.08 lb. (1 week)
