Gotcha Week! July 3!

Croissant - now Benny! Going home to Medway, MA!
Pretzel - keeping the name Pretzel! Going home to Marlborough, MA!
Crumpet - now Pepper! Going home to Boston, MA and big brother Dutch Haven Rhody!
Bagel - now Ori! Going home to Newton, MA!
(We had the privilege of keeping Ori with us for a few extra days so we took him along with us to the beach!)

Eight Weeks Old! 6.28.26

Some of the "educational" opportunities the pups have enjoyed recently include chore time in a front sling and a backpack, quiet times in individual crates, swim time in the pool, swing time in the hammock, and play time in the ball pit. The pups are great little travelers and we're looking forward to our road trip to bring the puppies to their forever families!

6.13.26

It feels like summertime here! The garden is exploding, the tree frogs and insects are making a ruckus at night, we've been chasing fireflies, and the puppies are just loving romping around with us and enjoying these brilliant days!

Taking a look around! 5.23.26

A little trip outside after the rain. Some nice deep breaths of the fresh air, a little look around for eyes that have only been open for a couple of days, and the sound of birds and insects for those newly opened ears. Quite an adventure for this little foursome!
Pretzel - black & white parti female
Crumpet - black phantom male

Buns in the Oven! 5.3.26

Our girl Obi was clearly heavy with pups and we were excited to meet her new babies. We thought the pups would make their appearance sometime midweek, but as we were preparing to leave for church on Sunday morning Obi started vigorously nesting in the whelping box. Thankfully, our eldest son, Jack, is a very experienced doggy doula, so we left him to oversee things while Joe and I headed to church to teach our Sunday School class. The first puppy arrived shortly before the family arrived back home, where we found that Jack and Obi had everything well under control.

Obi is an experienced mama and she always has copious amounts of milk. Under her attentive care, the pups are thriving and spend most of their time sleeping off the milk-haze. Their soft round bellies are just so adorable!

We decided to name the pups after small breads!
 *Apricot male - Croissant!
 *Black phantom male - Crumpet!
*Black & white parti male - Bagel!
*Black & white parti female - Pretzel!
