Ready for Families! 6.12.24
Puppies are ready for take-home! Final grooming/trims, a bath, and they'll be off. We know they're ready and we're so excited for them to start the newest adventure with their furever families!

Time is FLYING by! 6.4.24
As the pups sneak up on 7 weeks already, we've been having lots of fun! They loved the personality profiling process (humans think up the funnest games!), and are cheerfully racing out the door every time we bring them outside. Just like babies approaching the toddler stage, right now everything goes right into the mouth! When we sit to play, they clamber all over our laps with enthusiasm, bringing each exciting toy to show us. The black-eyed Susans and daylilies are testifying that summer days are just around the corner!

The firsts continue! 5.25.24
The puppies prepared for their first holiday weekend, loved their first experiences on grass, figured out how to find the shade the first time they were out in the middle of the day, and took their first naps on the patio while we enjoyed the splendid weather. What a great time to be alive!

First Month Flew Past! 4.19.24
Now a month old, Obi's puppies got their first taste of puppy mush, and in true baby fashion, it was a full-body experience! Not only is puppy mush fun to eat, it's fun to splash in! And as it turns out, you can sleepily lick leftovers off your sister as you snuggle up for another nap after all the excitement. Meanwhile, daily experiences have continued, incorporating neurological stimulation, location and locomotion, beginning use of the litter box, and of course the introduction of toys. Coming up as we start month 2: outdoors experiences!

Obi's First Litter! 4.17.24
Our girl Obi has been part of our family since puppyhood, and we are so proud of what a sweet, obedient, friendly dog she is. Obi represents the 4th generation of her lineage (we've had her mom, grandma, and great-grandma all in our breeding program) and she has been doing a fantastic job taking care of her own little ones! She made labor and delivery look easy, she's been very attentive to keeping her puppies clean and snug, and their round bellies and glossy coats tell you how good her milk is!
As a nod to the theme of growing up, we've named these puppies after one of my favorite childhood songs (specifically, the Peter, Paul, & Mary version). Please welcome:
