Breeding Program
In the process of building quality lines of healthy animals with desirable personality traits and temperament, we occasionally breed our top moms with selected Cocker Spaniel studs with the intention of keeping puppies to be raised up as our next generation of Dutch Haven dogs. As much as we love all our pups, we aren't able to keep them all! So from time to time we offer purebred AKC Cocker Spaniel puppies to loving homes.
Purebred Cocker Spaniels are known for their merry disposition and are sweet, trusting, and playful. We expect our dogs to mature around 25 pounds. They enjoy walks and are capable of surprising speed and endurance, but overall have a relatively low exercise need.
As with all of our dogs, these puppies are being raised as part of the family. They are currently stationed in the dining room, where they have a front-row seat to our normal daily life. They've occasionally been surprised by one of the boys' toys dropping in from above, and they've been witness to several "light saber" exhibitions, not to mention all the Lego creations that are constantly parading by. These pups will be great travelers, if they take after their mom at all. We have to take care that she doesn't hop in the van when we're not watching - she loves to go for rides!
All of our current puppies are spoken for. If you are interested in one of our 2018 Cockers please contact us to be notified when a litter is planned.

Mya x Floyd - AKC Cocker Spaniels
We decided to breed Lydia's personal shadow, Mya, with AKC Champion Floyd, for a litter of parti and roan puppies. These puppies represent our third generation with this line, which started with Mya's mother, Pretty. We will be keeping the girls of this litter for our breeding program, but we have some very handsome boys looking for their forever homes!
The puppies were born on February 28, 2016 and will be ready to go home with their new families on April 25, 2016.

Firsts...March 26
First taste of real food was a delicious and very messy prospect which led to first baths! That led to the first experience of drying and warming up in the bright first-of-spring sunshine. It's a wonderful world!
