"Whoever said DIAMONDS are a girl's best friend... must never have had a DOG!"
Amethyst (Amy)
AKC Cocker Spaniel Amethyst is the proud result of breeding our own special girl Hanna with Champion sire Captain, and she's a littermate sister of Hazel and Honey. We were so excited to welcome Amy to our family and were thrilled with the privilege of raising her up in the way she should go. She is a delight, playing with our kids, growing up side-by-side with our kitten, and taking her role of annoying the older dogs very seriously. We are so proud of her beauty and charm as she's matured, and look forward to her fulfilling her potential as she passes her lovely temperament and good looks along to the next generation!

Aurora
AKC Cocker Spaniel Princess Aurora is aptly named a princess! She's a delicate and pretty girl who doesn't really like to get her paws wet. But bring out one of her favorite toys and all pretense of decorum is gone! Actually, it's hard to pick which is her favorite toy; she loves balls, stuffed animals, squeakers...if you pick one up, she wants it! She's a sister of Irelynd and the two of them spend most of their time together here in Lydia's home. They love sunbathing on the same elevated bed out in the yard, and inside they often cozy up in the same bed. While motherhood is new to her, she's doing a great job with her babies and we're so proud of her!

Buttercup
Our princess Buttercup is a gorgeous, athletic girl with affection and energy to spare! She loves to play fetch and go for nature walks with Barbara's kids. She is always photo-bombing the other dogs, and loves to play with all the puppies. (She is officially the "Fun Aunt" hahaha!) Buttercup's favorite treat is cheese, and she often convinces our toddler to share with her at snack time. She loves most toys, but her favorite is a squeaky ball. Her fun-loving nature will definitely be inherited by her puppies!

Charlie
Gorgeous and glamorous, Miss Charlie is a brown, white, and tan supermodel. Her freckles and darker ears make for a striking appearance. With longer legs than some Cocker Spaniels, she is sporty and athletic. She walks nicely on her leash, and loves to explore the neighborhood with the kids. When she greets the neighbors, she is well-mannered but eager. And she always says hello to the Amazon driver with great enthusiasm! Charlie's absolute favorite treat is scrambled eggs (made specially with no seasonings for our mama doggies!) Charlie joined our family this summer, and has settled in quite well with the family. She loves to snuggle on the couch, but has a hard time deciding which kid to sit on!

Cocoa
AKC Cocker Spaniel Cocoa is a beautiful girl who enjoyed a pampered existence with a small show-breeder before joining Lydia's family. Cocoa advanced all the way to Prominent Champion status with her lovely conformation and show ring poise! Now happily ensconced in our family, Cocoa never misses a lap opportunity - any time we sit down, she's quick to join us, whether it's on the floor, on the couch, or on the bed. Cocoa is happy going out to play with her doggy sisters, but she never steps far from our sides, and she likes to stay pretty close to the house. She does have a thing for stray socks, so we've been trying to help the kids remember to put their socks in the hamper!

Daisy
Daisy is the first Cocker Spaniel that the Olstad's raised from a puppy and we have been enjoying this sweet girl as our beloved pet as we eagerly anticipate meeting her puppies! She is an AKC purebred Cocker Spaniel with champion lines and a gorgeous curly red roan coat. Brought home in the middle of a fierce winter storm, during the pandemic, she is a bit shy of strangers and new things at first, but warms up quickly and will try to be as close to you as possible once she loves you! Daisy is often at my feet in the kitchen and we can not open a bag of shredded cheese without first giving her a small sprinkle. She is also my favorite morning lap buddy as I sip coffee and prepare for the day. My 4 daughters love to play fetch with her outside and she absolutely loves walks! The more squirrels and birds she can scare away makes her feel like she is quite the hunter! She and her "sister" Luna love to play tug with the same rope toy, and she has been so gentle with other litters we have had! This sweet girl is ready to graduate from auntie to momma!

Darla
AKC Cocker Spaniel Darla Pearl joined the Vance family in 2021 and quickly found her way into their hearts with her gentle and happy disposition. Coming home to her is a highlight of their day. She greets her family with the excitement only seen in children on Christmas Day and with a cute tail that wags so fast, she may take flight! While at home with her, she is a cuddle companion while watching TV or will warm their feet as they sit at a desk to study. She knows when one of the Vance children have had a rough day or are not feeling well and will lay with them, belly up in the air, nudging them for extra pets and cuddles. She has tried from day one to be best friends with her chocolate lab brother, but he only tolerates her (he is a little on the jealous side and would have preferred to have all the attention). Even though he often dismisses her if she wants to play or cuddle up to him, she persists in the hopes of winning him over eventually. The Vance family believes that Darla will make an exceptional mom with her gentle, loving, nurturing, and persistent personality.

Hazel
AKC Cocker Spaniel Hazel is the proud result of breeding our wonderful girl Hanna with Champion sire Captain, and is littermate sister to Amy and Honey. Playful, smart, relaxed, ladylike, and a bit sly, Hazel is a delightful composite of manners and fun. She is remarkably patient with our toddlers and does her best to teach and tend her excitable younger sister Winter. The moment she is invited to a game of fetch, however, all decorum is set aside; she adores chasing a ball or frisbee above all else--a love she inherited from mama Hanna. We are excited to see Hazel thrive as a new mama!

Honey
AKC Cocker Spaniel Honey is the proud result of breeding our wonderful girl Hanna with Champion sire Captain, and is littermate sister to Amy and Hazel. She lives with Janna's family in Nebraska and has grown through the puppy days as a companion to elderly sister Sophie the Dachshund. For Honey, ball is life, and she is always up for a game of fetch!

Indigo
AKC Cocker Spaniel Indigo (Indie) is full of fun and enthusiasm. She loves to bounce around the house as though she's the energizer bunny, and keeps us laughing with her antics! Indie lives with Lydia's family and gets along great with the kids and other dogs. She is very treat motivated and when we move a hand towards the treat jar she's on high alert for how to earn a little nibble!

Kia
AKC Cocker Spaniel Princess Kia is a gorgeous tri-color girl, with an innate desire to please. She loves to come and give hand-shakes (even when her paws are muddy!) She is always excited to greet anyone who comes to visit, and will hop up and down on her hind legs like a kangaroo if they don't come and greet her right away! She loves to walk on the leash with us, and enjoys making new friends with any people and puppies she meets. I think her favorite time of day is when the breakfast bowl is filled. Kia loves to get the first bite of kibbles, then will graciously step aside and allow the other girls to join her. Kia is one of Princess Buttercup's second cousins, sharing many of their champion bloodlines in their "Southern Gal" heritage.

Maisy Mae
Maisy Mae is quite the snuggle bug and has played an important role in Stephanie's life as she made the transition to an "empty nester" when her youngest went off to college. This buff AKC Cocker Spaniel will, without hesitation, interrupt any work in progress in order to get the attention she deserves. Her happy places are in the car with her head out the window, and in any willing lap. When she's outside, she's all about the smells. Her tracking instincts kick in and she'll criss-cross the yard to follow her target. Maisy Mae loves long walks through the neighborhood and on the trails, or a quick play date at the dog park. One of her best buddies is Bella, a teddy-bear mix who frequently meets up for walks together. Her favorite treat is a kibble-filled, peanut butter-topped Kong - yum!

Mindy
AKC Cocker Spaniel Mindy is a gentle soul and a pleasure to have padding around at my heels. She is very laid back and doesn't jump up or bark. While she doesn't care much about toys or balls, she'll do almost anything for extra petting! Her mellow personality makes her easy to have around and we're very glad to have her as part of our home in the Groen family.

Muffet
Miss Muffet is a buff AKC Cocker Spaniel. We love her beautiful dark eyes and the adorable white freckles on her nose! Muffet embodies the traditional Cocker Spaniel temperament—ceaselessly silly, with an adoration of tennis balls and an unwavering love for life! Muffet (and her littermate, Bo) were born in February of 2020, so she met very few people in her puppyhood, and as a result is wary of strangers. But she warms up after just a few interactions and forever includes her trusted acquaintances as part of her family! She is always ready to greet us with a wagging tail and wiggly dance, and she is quick to offer her belly for pets! Muffet belongs to the McLaughlin's oldest daughter, Tori, and can often be found under her desk, on her bed, or lounging in the sun while Tori reads outside. Out of the McLaughlin's pack of Cockers, she is the lightest colored and ironically the only one who enjoys the rain and mud! Thankfully, she doesn't mind baths!

Obsidian (Obi)
Obi has been the delight of Joe & Lydia's household since puppyhood. Willow our Lab immediately adopted her as a daughter and Obi faithfully follows her "mama" around on every adventure. Her favorite toy is her stuffed bunny, and she can often be found snuggled up with her ropey friend; but she is generally happy to interject herself into any game of fetch, chase, or tug. Every shape and size of treat is welcome in Obi's mouth, and she is a faithful attendant whenever we open the dishwasher in case there are any dishes that need a "pre-rinse". Still, her love for outdoor escapades keeps her from gaining any extra ounces. With champion Cocker Spaniels on both sides of the family, this lovely lady is a great blend of desirable physical and personality traits and we're looking forward to meeting her first litter of Cockapoos in 2024!

Porsche
AKC Cocker Spaniel Porsche is a petite pup who exudes the classic Cocker cheerfulness. Her tail is like an exclamation point and she often has her mouth open in a little smile. Porsche is enthusiastic about walks, balls, hanging out with the other dogs, people, puppies, rides....and the list goes on! She may be a little smaller than the other dogs, but she has a big personality! We're sure her puppies will be full of zest for life and overflowing with love, just like their mama!

Scout
Scout “Cuddle Queen” McLaughlin is a heartily-sized black seal AKC Cocker Spaniel with champion lines. Scout came to our house at eight weeks old and melded right in with the other dogs and toddler Lily-Cate. She has a soft, beautiful coat that is wonderfully scrunchable, and she adores human attention. Scout has an intuitive grasp of how to fit in a human lap–no matter how tight the space or awkward the position! Despite being the largest of our Cockers, she is very gentle, and often acts as a peacemaker among her “sisters.” Her best friends are Lily-Cate the toddler, Lacey our buff cocker, and whoever’s lap she’s lounging in at the time! We have seriously considered renting Scout out as a “Therapy Lap-sitter.” Her reassuring weight and gentle, affectionate manners make her the best pick-me-up even on the worst day! Her one flaw is that it can be hard for us to get work done when she’s around–who can resist those sweet puppy-dog eyes? Scout gets along great with creatures of all shapes and sizes, making her a favorite among visiting children. We also utilize her pleasant, mellow nature as a “nanny” for cockapoo puppies in the house, and Scout expertly guides the pups in gentle play. Scout's puppies take after her in her life philosophy: "a moment not spent cuddling is a moment wasted".

Willow
Willow, a chocolate tri-color Cocker Spaniel and the newest addition to the McLaughlin clan, fully embodies the “merry Cocker” disposition. Charming and jovial, Willow is full of comical enthusiasm for life that quickly endears her to all who meet her. She has a characteristic happy “jaunt” when she is running in the yard, and we love watching her ears flop around as she speeds by. A slender and athletic 18 pounds, Willow is petite for a Cocker, but she easily outpaces our larger dogs. It’s always hilarious to find her curled up in high places where the others either can’t fit or won’t jump onto, like on the third shelf of our laundry shelves! We're looking forward to meeting her many-colored, merry-hearted pups!

Up & Coming!
We've been grooming several young ladies to join our breeding program. Once they are mature and have passed their health exams, we anticipate great things from these girls!
