Almost 3 weeks old! August 14
Juan Filipe is growing so strong! He is practicing walking around a little now, and can wobble along to investigate his world! He loves to sniff every new thing, and observes it all with his wide-open eyes!
It's a Boy! August 6
Cupcake is proud to introduce her baby boy to the world! Fortunately, this little singleton has plenty of human brothers and sisters (Barbie's 6 kids!) so he won't be lonely :-) And to make up for being a single pup, the family agreed on a very special name: Juan Filipe Eduardo Enrique Ricardo Gregario Gonzalez Cortez-Smith (Robert's handle in his high school Spanish class)!
Born on July 27, Juan is growing like a weed, tipping the scales today at 1 pound 5 ounces! He loved basking in the sunshine in our garden during this quick photo op - such a cute jalapeno "pupper"!
Juan has an apricot-colored coat, beautifully soft and silky, with a touch of white on his chest. Even though his eyes are still closed, he is already very curious about the world, and he loves to be cuddled in the rocking chair after getting a belly full of yummy milk from his Mommy!
Barbie's 2-year-old Pippin thinks he should have been named PupSqueak...
