Ready for their new family! 2.17.22
After 8 weeks with our family, Kate & Clint are ready for new horizons, new scenery, new adventures, and a new home. We'll miss these fuzzy cuddle bugs, but we know they'll bring smiles everywhere they go. We wish them lots of hugs, puppy kisses, and fun in the days, weeks, and years ahead!

It was Groundhog Day, but unlike Billy Murray, we never get tired of waking up to these sweet faces! The pups are doing so well with their potty training, using the litter box like pros and keeping their sleep and play areas clean. They're looking forward to meeting their new family this weekend!

Merry Christmas Twins! Saturday, December 25
Cupcake surprised us all by going into labor a little early, and we were super excited to greet her babies on Christmas morning. However, we soon realized that she was having some trouble, and we began searching for an emergency vet open on Christmas Day in an ice storm. We are so thankful to the excellent doctors and nurses who took such good care of our precious pups. By the end of the day, Cupcake was successfully recovering from a c-section and we were able to bring her home with her two little babies. Sadly, we did suffer loss during the process, as not all of the puppies survived, and we and our children have had to experience one of the bittersweet times of raising puppies.
We are pleased to report that both of Cupcake's pups are growing fat and sleek, enjoying Cupcake’s delicious milk, and squeaking and crawling around blindly exploring their world. They are one week old today, and have both doubled their birth weight!
The names were chosen from the “Hawkeye” show, which our family enjoyed watching this Christmas season!
Kate (Bishop), light apricot girl: 14.7 oz at 1 week old
Clint (Barton), dark apricot boy: 13.7 oz at 1 week old
