Taking a Peek! 8.26.23
Honey's puppies have opened their eyes and are starting to practice standing on all four paws. As they begin to explore the world with the new senses of sight and hearing, we're carefully structuring their experiences so they learn that regardless of their circumstances, they can trust their people. Since the pups still sleep most of the day, we interrupted nap time for a quick photo shoot in their Paw Patrol colored sweaters, then it was right back to napping in preparation for the next big adventure. Big sister Emmy likes watching over the pups and her dolls contributed some of the little sweaters!

Honey's First Litter! August 7, 2023
Beautiful Dutch Haven's Honeysuckle has welcomed her first litter, only a couple of weeks behind her sisters Amy and Hazel as they just had their first litters as well! Honey was definitely surprised by all the little arrivals who seemed to want to snuggle up with her, but she has now taken to motherhood quite smoothly and is keeping her babies warm, clean, and well-fed. Three-year-old brother Ollie is convinced that "the puppies LOVE me!" and he can't wait until they're big enough to play ball with him. Meanwhile, Honey is already feeling back to herself and is more than happy to play ball as long as Ollie would like. In honor of one of Ollie's favorite shows, the puppies are named for Paw Patrol.
