Almost 8 weeks, Monday, April 18, 2016

The pups will be 8 weeks old tomorrow, Tuesday, April 19.  Not sure where the past 8 weeks have gone, feels like they were just being born.  Over the next few days the pups will be venturing out - and headed to their forever homes with their new forever families.  We sure will miss these little pumpkins.

Name theme finally selected: Precious gems and stones!  These pups are just adorable!!  They are growing quite nicely - eyes are open - and they've even begun wagging tails.

Izzie's litter is a little over one week.....eyes are shut, pups mostly eat and snuggle with momma at this age / stage.  We have not yet picked our name theme, but hope to have names selected / assigned this coming week.

Izzie's Puppies Have Arrived, Tuesday, February 23, 2016

Izzie welcomed a beautiful litter of 8 puppies a bit earlier than we had planned (due date of Sunday, 2/28).  Though she took me by surprise, momma was ready to welcome her babies and did a fantastic job.  Izzie's litter has 6 apricot boys (with white markings) and 2 apricot girls (with white markings).  Momma and babes are doing well - eating, sleeping and cuddling. (Picture below is from Sunday, March 6, 2016 @ 1.5 weeks).
