Jade
Jade is an AKC Cocker Spaniel who represents the third generation of Cockers in the Dutch Haven family (mom is Mya, grandma is Pretty). Born of champion lines, Jade arrived in our dining room on February 28, 2016 (she just missed being a leap-day puppy!) Sadly, our sweet Jade was diagnosed with a rare liver disease and despite our best efforts she passed away only a week after diagnosis. She is sorely missed, having been a treasured part of our crew, and was frequently found snuggled up with Nabisco or squeezed into Hanna's crate (she loved being tucked in tight). She had a mellow, laid-back personality and was always sweet and patient with our boys. Jade loved playing outside! She spent much of her time romping in the grass, and just sitting, watching the birds and chipmunks who always stay just out of reach. She was a great "aunty" to the puppies we have come through; being young enough to be playful with them and not get too impatient with their antics! She left many happy memories behind.
