Snow Adventures! December 3
The time has absolutely flown by with this litter of sweethearts. These pups just love being held and handled and were relaxed and compliant during their grooming practice session today (included standard nail trim and introduced the use of clippers around their eyes and faces). Then outside we went for a brand new life experience - SNOW! All of these pups took to it immediately; poking their noses into the snowbanks, chasing little snowballs, and prancing right out of the cleared path we'd made for them into the deeper drifts. Much fun was had by all and these little winter bunnies are ready for more great adventures with their new families coming right up! Scroll to the bottom of today's slideshows to watch some video clips of the pups in the snow.

Ready for Company! November 14
The Green Gables puppies will be five weeks old tomorrow and they can't wait to meet their new families! These clever pups have already learned to consistently use their "litter box" in preparation for full crate and house training, which will commence next week. They enjoy playing tug of war, keep away, and wrestling with their big "cousins" from Hanna's and Stormy's litters. But most of all they love being held and played with; they're well on their way to being the great family dogs that is their destiny!
Gilbert Blythe - 3 lb. 3.3 oz.
Anne Shirley - 2 lb. 13.5 oz.
Ruby Gillis - 3 lb. 6.0 oz.
Josie Pye - 2 lb. 11.4 oz.
Diana Berry - 2 lb. 10.5 oz.
Eyes are open! November 6
Lilac's puppies have opened their eyes! Now that they have sight, they are starting to wobble around on all four paws as they explore their world with a whole new sense available to them.

Welcome pups, October 11, 2019
Lilac once again presented a stellar performance in the puppy department. Like most of our girls, she prefers to welcome her puppies in the middle of the night, but these babies came quickly and were soon all snugged up and contentedly nursing.
We are thrilled that Lilac has so many girls in this litter, after we've had quite a few boys over the past year. This was my big opportunity to use one of my favorite stories: Anne of Green Gables! I first saw the BBC mini-series when I was at a sleep-over when I was 8 years old, and I've been smitten ever since.
First born: Diana Barry - apricot female (black collar for Diana's raven hair!)
Second born: Anne Shirley - dark apricot female (orange collar for the infamous "Carrots" scene!)
Third born: Gilbert Blythe - apricot male (no collar necessary for the only boy!)
Fourth born: Ruby Gillis - light apricot female (blue collar for one of Anne's true-blue friends!)
Fifth born: Josie Pye - light apricot female (purple collar for a girl who thinks she's royalty!)
