Sleep, eat, play, repeat! July 7
The spring blossom pups are making great progress towards being ready to go home with their new families! They are fully weaned, enthusiastic about dry kibble (and even more so about treats!), making great progress on house training, and being introduced to fun and exciting concepts like "come" and "fetch"! As much as they love being part of our busy household, I know they're going to really blossom and thrive when they get the one-on-one attention of each of their new families starting this weekend!
Leia - now known as Gigi, she'll be calling Andover, MA her home! 3.3 lbs.
Sythia - her new family is calling her Ruby, and she'll be calling Dutch Haven's Otis her big brother in Holden, MA! 3.6 lbs.
Lily - will be known as Maisy May to her family in Lexington, MA! 3.6 lbs.
Dil - is going home to Needham, MA! 4.9 lbs.
Rhody - will be called Kobe, and little brother to Dutch Haven Zoey in Newington, CT! 3.9 lbs.
Johnny - is keeping his birth name and calling Wilmington, MA his new home! 4.5 lbs.
Everybody make some noise! June 18
What a fun week! This week - the transition from infant to toddler - is so fun for humans and puppies alike! Lilac's pups are moving around more confidently on all four paws, nibbling at kibble, working on the early stages of potty training, and experimenting with their voices. We're enjoying watching their antics, introducing them to new sights, smells, sounds, and textures every day, and listening to their squeaks, chirps, peeps, and even the occasional ha-woo! They can't wait to meet their new families this weekend!

Hello World! June 4
Lilac's puppies have opened their eyes and are beginning to take notice when the children and I greet them. Their mama is still the most important thing in life to them as they continue to nurse around the clock growing sleek and round. With the beautiful weather we were able to take photos outside, though the bright daylight made them all squint a bit. Being so little it was tough for some of them to stay awake for their whole turn - but they're spending more and more time awake as each day passes!
Dil - male, 1lb. 14oz
Sythia - female, 1lb. 8oz.
Johnny - male, 1lb. 15oz.
Lily - female, 1lb. 6oz.

Hello Sweet Pups! Saturday, May 16
Lilac's beautiful babies arrived slowly and steadily over the course of 12 hours on Saturday. All of the babies are sleek and plump and enjoying the snuggled up warmth of their mama as the days continue to warm up outside as well!
In honor of the May flowers that are finally blooming here and their beautiful mommy Lilac, these puppies take their names from spring blossoms.
