Playful Puppies, April 3
My oldest son wanted to take a video of the pups playing. Chaos of kids and puppies = normal life around here. :-)
Seeing Double, March 31
Seeing double? Double CUTENESS!! :-) Madi's fruit puppies turned 6 weeks this past Friday, 3/29. Last weekend families came to meet their pup(s) and I am so excited for these little ones and the wonderful families they are so fortunate to become part of. This coming week they'll have their vet check appointment and next week head to their forever homes. I'm sure the families are counting down - eager.....I know we are relishing in every snuggle, tail wag, and playful bound they bring into our day.

Four Weeks (tomorrow), March 14
How can we be so quickly approaching 4 weeks with our fruit puppies? Every day seems to bring a new ability and a bit more personality than the day before. Today I found the litter face deep in their mommas lunch. Madi is quite sweet and had no issue sharing, though she did give me sad eyes and seemed a bit concerned she would end up with none. I let momma have her lunch in peace and made the pups their first slurry (mixture of softened kibble, formula, and a little NB canned dog food blended in blender). They enjoyed and gobbled it right up. They then had some play time which of course, ended in a nap.
Two Weeks, March 1
Our little fruit puppies opened their eyes yesterday. It's always so fun to see their cute eyes; makes them so much more "puppy" (less newborn gerbil in appearance) and almost instantly transforms them into little bundles of personality. Adorable for sure.

One Week, February 22
Madi's pups are such easy and sweet babes. Every morning we do a weigh in to track gain (not a problem for this bunch of chunkers). My boys enjoy being my helpers - holding puppies and snuggling with them while I weigh. Drew was holding one of the male pups and said, "Mom, we should call him blueberry". "Aww, that's sweet bud - why do you think we should call him blueberry?". "Cause, he's cute like a blueberry". Um, ok - sounds good to me. So the name theme for this litter is fruit. My boys are also enjoying calling them our "Fruit puppies".
We have Plum (f), Peaches (f), Coconut (m), Papaya (m), Blueberry (m), Mango (m), and Blackberry (m).

Yeah, you're here......
Madi welcomed a beautiful litter of 7 apricot pups on Friday, February 15. Momma did a fantastic job with delivery and is enjoying caring for her little ones. There are 2 females and 5 males in this litter. All pups are gaining weight and doing very well.
