Puppy Playtime
The pups love to bound about and play with toys! They keep us entertained while we have our lunch.
4+ Weeks, August 4
Madi's "paint" puppies will be meeting their fur-ever families this coming weekend!
At 4+ weeks, they are eating softened kibble (that the seem to quite enjoy) - stealing some of mommas "big girl" food (she is too mild mannered to tell her babies no ❤️) - playing with toys - and becoming very aware of the life going on around them (kids, other momma dogs, other pups, etc.). They enjoy being snuggled and can often be found being read to by my boys. Before the rain, we headed outside for their photo shoot.

3 Weeks Yesterday, July 24
Madi's pups turned 3 weeks yesterday. They love to be cuddled and held, but still prefer momma. Playtime at 3 weeks is rather short in comparison to naptime. ❤️😴
Madi's Paint Puppies, July 8Madi welcomed her last litter on Thursday, July 2. Momma had a beautiful litter of 5 male and 2 female apricot pups. A fantastic mom, Madi has taken to caring for her little babes wonderfully. She's gentle, peaceful, careful and loving.
I decided on paint brands for the name theme for this litter as we are currently building our home and painting has become my other job. Welcome: Clare (female), Magnolia (female), Behr (male), Valspar (male), Benjamin-Moore (male), Pratt&Lambert (male) and Sherwin-Williams (male). |
