Patience got to meet her new family this weekend and she'll be going home with them in just a couple of weeks! Meanwhile, there's still lots of fun and learning going on here as she transitions to a more playful relationship with her mama and continues to learn that the humans in her life are trustworthy and loving. 

Thriving & Growing! Saturday, May 28

Patience is a smart cookie! Now with her eyes open and toddling around, she began seeking out a good potty place. We were happy to provide a small litter box for her, and she's been using it on a regular basis. Patience has been a willing participant and eager student in our "puppy kindergarten", where she is learning that new experiences come in all shapes, sizes, smells, and sounds, but they aren't to be feared and generally turn out to be fun and rewarding!

First Baby, First Day of May! Sunday, May 1

After an X-ray revealed that Maisy Mae's first pregnancy was a single puppy, there was some concern that she may require a c-section if labor didn't commence in a timely manner. Thankfully, after a long night's vigil, the little baby made her appearance without any unnecessary drama. Maisy Mae was quite surprised by this little squeaking creature who seemed to want to snuggle up with her, but before long her mothering instincts kicked in and she was nuzzling her little daughter right back. We are so proud of Maisy Mae and so thankful for her first little pup, who is healthy and beautiful!
