The puppies have opened their eyes! They still spend most of their time sleeping, but when they do move around it's a lot more graceful. *Please note: these are not the most flattering photos ever because the pups JUST opened their eyes - a lot of times they look kind of blind and/or dopey. But they'll be bright-eyed and smart as whips in a matter of days. I just knew you wanted more photos as soon as possible :-)

You may notice the Disney theme is continuing from Sunny's litter. Here are the names we've chosen, their birth weights, and some photos for you!

Lightning McQueen - Black male with jagged white line down his neck and chest - 7.7 ounces
Sally - Sleek solid apricot female - 6.5 ounces
Pocahontas - Tiny black female with brown paws (anyone else sensing the nickname Pokey?) - 4.6 ounces
Violet - Black female with smidge of white on her neck - 6.5 ounces
Dash - Black male with white on neck - 7.6 ounces
Bagheera - Amazingly sleek and shiny black and tan male - 7.4 ounces
Tinkerbell - Small dark apricot female - 5.5 ounces
Timon - Golden buff boy with white star & belly - 5.7 ounces
Simba - Apricot boy with white star and neck - 8.4 ounces

Pretty's puppies arrived June 8, 2014!

After an easy and relatively short labor (about 5 hours) Pretty had an amazing litter of 9 healthy little puppies! 4 girls, 5 boys; 4 apricot, 5 black. They all checked out great at their first vet visit this morning, and Pretty impressed the vet with how she's already rebounded.
