8 Weeks Old - "Gotcha Day" is Here!
Gonna miss you guys! You all carry the same easy-going nature as your mama & have been a joy to raise.
Here’s my parting advice, Lassie, Gus, Shawn, Woody, & Juliet:
~ Many a treat can be had with your adoring gaze.
~ Drop your bum to the ground and look up at your new family, wide-eyed — yes, work those dark, shiny, huge eyes!
~ When lifted up, lean in to give under-chin kisses.
~ When sleepy, start snoozing while on a lap.
~ Pounce through leaf piles
~ Chase all moving toys
~ Observe & submit to your older siblings who were established in your home before you
~ Roll over and show that belly of yours often
~ Lastly, try to limit mouthiness to your *own toys.

5 Weeks Old - Sleep, Play, Sleep, Eat, Sleep, Learn...Repeat!
3 Weeks and counting! September 11
Princess’ Psyche Puppies turned 3 weeks on Thursday, and as you can tell from the pictures, they’ve grown a lot and gotten much fluffier. They are also toddling around, even working their way over the edges of their bumper bed to go potty on their alfalfa pellets — not all the time, but often! Their legs seem a little too long for them to achieve an intentional position, so steps are slow and wobbly and several few steps ends in a tumble!

A Warm Welcome! August 19
UPDATE 9.6.21
Princess welcomed six beautiful apricot puppies the evening of Thursday, August 19, giving birth with ease in just two short hours! The five boys and their one sweet sister all looked great and were within just 1 ounce in weight of each other! Sadly, at four days old, one of the pups faded and our best efforts combined with veterinary consultation weren't able to save him. We are heartbroken, as every life is precious, and we always do our best to protect and provide for the pups entrusted into our care. We are continuing to support Princess as she keeps her pups well-fed, warm, and clean, and are happy to report that the little family is thriving.
The unequal gender breakdown had the name theme debate going even stronger than usual in our house, but we finally decided to name these pups for the TV show Psyche - a favorite with our teens! Shawn, Gus, Lassie, Woody, and Juliet have opened their eyes and are starting to make some moves, so you can look for new photos of them by the end of this week!
