Busy Couple of Days, January 20

Today the pups had their check up with the vet......not only did they pass with flying colors but they charmed all of the people in the office.  Yesterday we had our last photo shoot before the pups go home this weekend.  Since we were home due to a snow storm we thought we'd take full advantage of the natural and amazing beauty of the snow.

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas, December 17

In just a couple of days the pups will be 4 weeks old.  This is such a fun stage!  Eyes are open, they get excited to hear my voice, their tails wag when I talk to them and pet them, they have started to make noises and wobble around. Of course momma is still their favorite "person" in our home - but over the next week we'll be tie!  :-)

Puppy Piles, Wednesday, December 14

​Almost 2 Weeks, Saturday, December 3

This coming week the pups will be two weeks old, thier eyes will begin to open and they'll start wobbling around.  It was a sunny day (finally, after a lot of rain this week) so I thought I'd try to take advantage of the sun (natural light) for our shoot.  Also, names have been selected!  Since we are in full Christmas mode in our home I decided to name the pups after the cutest elves, the Kringles, in one of my favorite Christmas movies - Santa Claus Is Coming To Town.
So, we have:

Thanksgiving Turkeys, Tuesday, November 22

With Thanksgiving come thoughts of thankfulness.....giving mindful consideration to all our blessings.....for me, one of the many things I am thankful for are these cute turkeys!  Happy Thanksgiving!! (We are still working on names).

Sandie's Puppies Have Arrived!  Monday, November 21

At 4:52 am Sandie and I welcomed her first little guy.......after spending the night camped out eagerly awaiting their arrival I was so happy to finally see his face!  Sandie's due date was Wednesday, 11/16 so we had been watching and waiting with anticipation.  Once her babes decided today was the day these little guys wasted no time coming out to meet the world.  By 6:20 am momma had delivered 4 handsome apricot MALE pups!  Sandie has settled into her role as momma spending the day snuggling and feeding - only to move away from them to get herself something to eat/drink or go out.  The pups are eating well, sleeping and snuggling.  

Sandie's pups will be 8 weeks and ready for their forever homes on January 16.  Tentative visit/pup selection dates will be Friday, 12/30 and Saturday, 12/31.  I hope to get pics up this weekend once the pups and momma have had a chance to settle in a bit more.
