7 Weeks, November 30
With Christmas right around the corner and the house decorated for the holiday......we decided to do a Christmas theme photo shoot for these cuties. The pups will be 8 weeks this Sunday, and headed to their forever homes in a little over a week. I can only imagine the anticipation and excitement building in each home for pups arrival and Christmas.

Puppy Pals, November 18
Starla and Madi's pups love to play together, snuggle together, be together.....and since they are close in age and size it works out quite nicely to have a few more "friends" to play with. :-)
Sleepy Soggy Sunday, October 29
The pups are 3 weeks today! Their eyes are open, they wobble about (picture a toddler just learning to walk), they enjoy cuddles and have started to explore and find their voice(s). Families are all lined up and ready for visitis in 2 weeks. Starla continues to amaze me as a mom - she is attentive, concerned, loving, gentle and always listening for their little cries (to include pups that aren't hers - Madi's litter is close by and Starla thinks she needs to help when they cry). Week 4-5 is when I'll really start to see personalities begin to develop.

Starla's pups will be one week old tomorrow. The pups have spent the first week snuggled in with momma and eating and of course being loved on by us! They were portly at birth and have continued to gain weight daily.......yeah for healthy little pups! We've been enjoying Fall here in our home (field trip to a corn maze this past week, hayride through apple fields, raking leaf piles and riding through them, apple bars, pumpkin cheesecake, etc.) so we have opted for a Fall inspired name theme.

Starla's Pups Have Arrived, October 8
Starla's pups were eager to make their debut.....arriving a few days before their due date - momma had 6 apricot with white markings pups (1 male, 5 female). Starla did a fantastic job and has settled into her role as momma. She is attentive, protective, and wonderful at feeding and cleaning her babes.
