Memorial Day Morning At The Beach, May 29

Starla's pups turned 8 weeks today.   What better way to spend our morning than taking a family trip to the beach (kids, Starla's pups and Bella's pups). The weather was cool, overcast and a bit drizzly - though I don't think the pups seemed to mind.....it also allowed for us to have the run of the beach! The puppies enjoyed running all around, digging and splashing in the little tide pools.

3 Weeks and Growing, April 24

In just a couple of weeks families will be coming to meet and select their pup!  The pups eyes are open, they've started finding their voice and have started to play / nibble on each other.

Sunny Saturday, April 8

Starla is being a fantastic momma to her new little ones - cleaning, feeding, snuggling and guarding.  Momma is comfortable with my handling her pups enough that we are ready for their first photo shoot.  The pups are gaining weight and spend all of their day with mom.  My little guy Drew again wanted to help out with the shoot, which I welcomed since my photo assistant (my husband Dave) was at work and unable to assist.  I don't think I'll ever get over the cuteness of little pups and little baby hands.....xoxo.

April Showers Bring May Flowers, April 3

Starla's pups have arrived!!  Starla went into labor early Monday morning (1:14am) and did a fantastic job.  Momma welcomed 6 beautiful apricot pups (all with white markings).  We have 4 girls and 2 boys.  The puppies are doing great, gaining weight and eating/sleeping/snuggling with their mom.  We are letting everyone settle in for now, so pics will be posted next week.

A name theme has been selected........flowers!  With the warm weather we just had and the sun forecasted for next week we are hopeful that SPRING will come.  :-) In order of birth, we have:
