The puppies actually opened their eyes on Friday. But they look so silly when only one eye is open and when they are trying really hard to open both eyes...so I spared them the embarrassment and waited to take photos until today. But here they are!
The main activity on the puppy's calendar these days is sleep. They only eat in snatches (their increasing weight shows they're getting plenty!), and only manage to keep their eyes open for brief moments before falling back asleep. However, they're starting to think about using all four legs and we occasionally see a wobbly attempt to stand on four paws before they stop, drop and sleep again!
Speaking of increasing weight:
Abu - 1 lb. 6.7 ounces
Jasmine - 1 lb. 12.6 ounces
Aladdin - 2 lb. 2.5 ounces

Friday, June 6
The puppies are sleek and sturdy - just the way we like them! Thanks to a suggestion from one of our puppy families we went with a Disney theme :-) Aladdin is our bigger boy, Jasmine is the medium-sized girl and Abu is the small boy.
Sunny's puppies arrived June 2, 2014!
After a relatively long labor (about 9 hours) Sunny bounced right back and was ready to play! She has three beautiful apricot pups - two boys and one girl. Their first visit to the vet revealed they all have healthy hearts and lungs, which we're always happy to hear. Watch for pictures coming soon!
