Summer puppies have the privilege of spending lots of warm days getting to know the outdoor world! Patriotic Puppers! July 4
We TRIED to get the pups to cooperate for a patriotic photo...but they're so wiggly the photos mostly just came out looking like a cute pile of puppies (we were trying for stripes like a flag!) Happy Independence Day!
More Little Puppers! Thursday, June 17
We've been eagerly anticipating the arrival of Buttercup's first litter of puppies, and despite her inexperience, instincts (and careful attentiveness on our part!) helped her do a great job welcoming her babies into the world!
Buttercup had been extremely interested in Cupcake's puppies (born two days before) and now seems quite delighted to finally have her own little squeaky pups to play with! She is an affectionate mother, and firmly believes that cleanliness is paramount. We have to encourage her to lay down and rest every once in a while! Her pups are already taking after her in energy and snuggliness, and growing quite plump on her abundant milk!
Buttercup seems to idolize everything her big "sister" Cupcake does, so it seemed fitting to continue the naming theme of PEPPERS for these beautiful pups! (And for an explanation of that, you can check out Cupcake's puppy page!)
